Put the practical details next to each other. A prize’s advertised price is only part of its appeal; what it would cost you and whether you could use it matter too.
What belongs in your comparison
Use the original organiser’s link and rules. Add the entry closing date, an estimate of your own additional costs and the inclusions or restrictions that would affect your choice. An empty cost field means “not recorded”, while an entered £0 means you have estimated no extra cost.
The three checkboxes record your own checks. They are not an independent verification. Keep anything uncertain in the notes and contact the organiser if it would change your ability to enter or accept the prize.
Your notes stay with you
Without saving, the form lasts only while this page stays open. Choose “Remember these notes” to keep a copy in this browser for up to 90 days after the latest saved edit. It is not an account and does not sync across devices. Browser settings or clearing site data can remove it earlier.
Untick the option to remove the saved copy, or use “Clear everything” to clear the form too. “Download notes” creates a plain-text file you can keep yourself. Avoid putting passwords, addresses or other sensitive information in your notes.
Choose two real offers to compare
You can find candidates through Online Competition’s free competition directory and MSE’s Competitions Time forum. If two listings lead to the same organiser and promotion, treat them as one opportunity. Use each organiser’s own rules for the costs, dates and inclusions you enter here.
