How to use the calculator

Use the prize terms to decide whether each item is included. “Included / not needed” means it contributes no extra cost. “I’ll pay” lets you enter an estimate, including £0 if you have checked that no additional money is needed. “Not checked” leaves an explicit gap in the result.

Enter the total for everyone travelling and the full length of the trip. If meals might cost £25 per person per day for two people over three days, enter £150. That is an arithmetic example, not a recommended spending allowance.

Keep estimates honest

The result adds your entered amounts and optional extra allowance. It does not look up prices, exchange rates or destination charges. Convert any foreign-currency estimates to pounds before entering them, and revisit your figures when you have an actual quote.
